I truly enjoyed the onsen available at Hotel Marutani. It was a small luxury to unwind after a day of exploring Tokyo. The hot spring water was refreshing and soothing, and I appreciated the separate facilities for men and women, making it very comfortable to use.

Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. On the plus side, it was very clean and conveniently located just a short walk from Ueno station, which made getting around really easy. However, the room we were initially given was smoking and cramped, and the bed was quite hard. Once we switched rooms, things improved a bit, but overall, it wasn't the most comfortable experience for a five-night stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as it was centrally located and made accessing Ueno Park easy, especially during the cherry blossom season. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite the nearby street noise, though the bathroom was quite small. Considering the price, I felt it offered fantastic value for money, especially with additional amenities like the onsen bath.

This hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from multiple train stations, making travel around Tokyo and to the airport a breeze. The rooms are clean, though not particularly spacious, and I did find the bathroom quite small. While the noise from the street can be a bit bothersome, the beds are very comfortable, which allowed for a good night's sleep. Overall, it's a decent choice given the value for money, especially with free Wi-Fi included.
